Foot pain may affect how well you sleep

Foot pain is considered by some to be trivial, something that will come and go, but otherwise just bother your from the knee down. However, an interesting study published last year has found that foot pain, along with shoulder and back pain, is associated with poor sleep quality. This study is unable to report if painful feet kept people from sleeping, or if pain throughout the day has a lasting effect, making sleep difficult. Either way, if you do have foot pain, it may be best not to think of it as pain quarantined to your feet. If you have foot pain that is lingering, make a time to see a podiatrist at Adelaide Podiatry Clinic.
